  • Arduino Pro Micro

    Arduino Pro Micro

The Micro is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega32U4 (datasheet), developed in conjunction with Adafruit. It has 20 digital input/output pins (of which 7 can be used as PWM outputs and 12 as analog inputs), a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a micro USB connection, an ICSP header, and a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a micro USB cable to get started. It has a form factor that enables it to be easily placed on a breadboard. The Micro board is similar to the Arduino Leonardo in that the ATmega32U4 has built-in USB communication, eliminating the need for a secondary processor. This allows the Micro to appear to a connected computer as a mouse and keyboard, in addition to a virtual (CDC) serial / COM port.

  • LM7812T

    LM7812T

Three-Terminal Fixed Positive Voltage Regulator The LM7812T is a three-terminal fixed positive linear voltage regulator IC designed to provide a stable +12V DC output from a higher input voltage source. It belongs to the widely used 78xx series regulators, where “12” indicates the fixed output voltage of 12 volts. It is commonly used in power supply circuits, embedded systems, and electronic devices that require a simple, reliable regulated 12V rail without the complexity of external components. The device operates as a linear regulator, meaning it reduces voltage by dissipating excess energy as heat, so proper heatsinking is often required for higher current loads. Key Features of LM7812T Fixed +12V output voltage Output current up to 1A–1.5A (depending on package and cooling) Input voltage range up to ~35V max Built-in thermal shutdown protection Internal current limiting and short-circuit protection Safe-area compensation for reliable operation No external components required for basic operation Good line and load regulation Low quiescent current (~8 mA typical) Available in TO-220 / TO-3 packages (LM7812T variants) Typical Applications DC power supplies (12V regulated rail) Arduino and microcontroller systems Industrial control electronics Sensor and communication circuits Battery-powered systems requiring stable 12V Audio amplifiers and small motor control circuits #CommonPartsLibrary #IntegratedCircuit #PowerManagement
