  • RS-485 Breakout Board for XIAO and QT Py

RS-485 Breakout Board for XIAO and QT Py

The Seeed Studio RS-485 Breakout Board is a versatile RS-485 expansion designed for all Seeed Studio XIAO development boards. Equipped with the TP8485E transceiver IC, this breakout board efficiently converts UART serial streams to RS-485 signals. Operating as a half-duplex transceiver, the TP8485E enables unidirectional communication, spanning distances of up to 1200 meters. This breakout board is engineered for efficiency, consuming power from a single 5V or 12VDC power source. Its RS-485 output is facilitated through 3-pin terminals for both signal wires and power connections. These features collectively make it an ideal choice for robust data transmission across extensive distances and in challenging, high-noise environments.

  • IL3185E TR13

    IL3185E TR13

The IL3185 and IL3122 from NVE Corporation are galvanically isolated, differential bus transceivers designed for bidirectional data communication on balanced transmission lines. Utilizing NVE's patented IsoLoop spintronic Giant Magnetoresistance (GMR) technology, these components offer a low-cost solution for RS-485 and RS-422 applications. The IL3185 is tailored for half-duplex RS-485 communication, supporting up to 32 devices on the bus with a data rate of up to 5 Mbps, and features a fail-safe mechanism that ensures a logic high output when the bus lines are open or floating. The IL3122, on the other hand, is designed for full-duplex RS-422 communication, also supporting up to 32 devices on the bus at a data rate of 5 Mbps with a fail-safe feature. Both devices are compatible with 3.3V and 5V input supplies, offer thermal shutdown protection, and are capable of withstanding up to +15kV ESD. They provide 2500 VRMS of isolation for one minute and feature a typical common-mode rejection of 20 kV/μs, making them suitable for applications in industrial control networks, building environmental controls, and other systems requiring reliable data communication in electrically noisy environments.

  • E32-433T30D

    E32-433T30D

8km UART Through Hole RF Transceiver Modules and Modems RoHS,3.3V~5.2V,-40 ~ 80C The E32-433T30D is based on the Semtech SX1278 LoRa chipset and uses LoRa spread-spectrum modulation to achieve long-distance, highly reliable wireless communication even in noisy environments. It communicates with a microcontroller via UART (serial interface), making it easy to integrate with Arduino, ESP32, STM32, and similar systems. It is commonly used for IoT telemetry, remote control systems, sensor networks, and industrial monitoring, especially where GSM/Wi-Fi is unavailable or impractical. Key Features Frequency range: 410–441 MHz (433 MHz default) RF output power: 21–30 dBm (up to 1 W high-power version) LoRa modulation: High sensitivity and strong anti-interference Communication distance: up to ~8 km (open area, ideal conditions) Interface: UART TTL serial (3.3 V logic level) Sensitivity: around -147 dBm for long-range reception Low data rate support: ~0.3 kbps to 19.2 kbps Half-duplex communication (TX/RX not simultaneous) Configurable modes: normal / wake-up / power-saving / sleep via M0 & M1 pins Compact module size with SMA antenna connector Wide operating temperature: -40 °C to +85 °C Important Notes Requires external microcontroller (MCU) for operation (not standalone). Must not leave M0 and M1 pins floating (must be defined HIGH/LOW or GND). Works best with proper 433 MHz antenna (2–5 dBi recommended). Power supply must be stable (typically 5V with sufficient current capability). For maximum range, line-of-sight + correct antenna height matters more than raw power. Applications Smart agriculture monitoring Remote sensor networks Utility meter reading (water/gas) Industrial telemetry systems Drone/robot communication links Remote control & automation systems #E32_433T30D #Ebyte #LoRa #SX1278 #WirelessModule #IoT #Telemetry #LongRangeCommunication #UART #433MHzLoRa #EmbeddedSystems

  • MAX3485ESA+

    MAX3485ESA+

1/1 Transceiver Half RS422, RS485 8-SOIC The MAX3483, MAX3485, MAX3486, MAX3488, MAX3490, and MAX3491 are 3.3V, low-power transceivers for RS-485 and RS-422 communication. Each part contains one driver and one receiver. The MAX3483 and MAX3488 feature slew-rate-limited drivers that minimize EMI and reduce reflections caused by improperly terminated cables, allowing error-free data transmission at data rates up to 250kbps. The partially slew-rate-limited MAX3486 transmits up to 2.5Mbps. The MAX3485, MAX3490, and MAX3491 transmit at up to 10Mbps. Drivers are short-circuit current-limited and are protected against excessive power dissipation by thermal shutdown circuitry that places the driver outputs into a high-impedance state. The receiver input has a fail-safe feature that guarantees a logic-high output if both inputs are open circuit. The MAX3488, MAX3490, and MAX3491 feature fullduplex communication, while the MAX3483, MAX3485, and MAX3486 are designed for half-duplex communication.
