I’ll audit the part metadata, source the official TI datasheet if needed, then verify the symbol, footprint, and pin descriptions against it and update the Datasheet property.
I’m reading the current metadata and terminal/footprint definitions first; then I’ll compare each item to the official datasheet.
Audit complete. TMUX4053PWR, Texas Instruments, active-production 16-pin PW TSSOP, is correctly identified; the existing Datasheet URL is valid and readable, so it was not replaced. Pin names/numbers and the 0.65 mm-pitch footprint match the datasheet land pattern.
  • Key specs: 5–24 V single supply or up to ±12 V dual supply; −55°C to +125°C; 60 Ω typical on-resistance, 240 Ω maximum at 24 V/25°C; 850 MHz typical bandwidth at 24 V; 1.8 V-compatible logic; break-before-make.
  • Mismatches: all 16 symbol pins have Pin Type=Unspecified, no Pin Description, and no parametric Section/Pin Group/orientation/order metadata. The project description also presents 850 MHz and 240 Ω without their supply/test-condition context and calls 110 ns a maximum turn-on time, although it is typical at 24 V/25°C and up to 230 ns over temperature.

All symbol pin numbers and footprint pad identities agree with the datasheet top-view pinout.
Symbol Review
  • Pin count and names: correct.
  • Pin numbering: correct.
  • Symbol grouping/layout: readable and functionally reasonable, with pins 1–8 on the left and 9–16 on the right.
  • Mismatch: every terminal has Pin Type = Unspecified; expected types are I/O for Sx/Dx, Input for EN/SELx, and Power for VDD/VSS/GND.
  • Mismatch: no stored Pin Description values were found.
  • Metadata gap: no explicit functional groups were found. Suggested groups are Power, Ground, Logic Control, Switch 1, Switch 2, and Switch 3.
Footprint Review
  • 16 surface-mount pads: correct.
  • Pad pitch: 0.65 mm: correct.
  • Pad size appears approximately 0.45 mm × 1.475 mm, agreeing closely with TI’s example land pattern of 0.45 mm × 1.50 mm.
  • Two rows and pin progression match the TSSOP top-view pinout.
  • The footprint asset name indicates a 6.40 mm span, while TI’s example board layout shows a nominal 5.8 mm row-center/land-pattern dimension. This is not automatically a defect: TI explicitly notes IPC-7351 alternate land patterns may be used, and the observed pad geometry is consistent with a standard IPC-generated TSSOP footprint. Verify the final footprint courtyard/body and 3D alignment visually before publishing.
  • No clear pad-count, pitch, or pin-order mismatch was found.
  1. Pin types missing: Set analog switch terminals to I/O, EN/SEL1/SEL2/SEL3 to Input, and supply terminals to Power.
  2. Pin descriptions missing: Add the datasheet descriptions, especially the active-low behavior of EN and the decoupling guidance on VDD/VSS.
  3. Part description incomplete: Replace the generic project description with a functional description such as “24 V, 2:1, 3-channel CMOS analog multiplexer with 1.8 V-compatible logic.”
  4. Package metadata missing: Add TSSOP-16 (PW), 0.65 mm pitch as the package/case metadata.
  5. Mount/lifecycle metadata missing: Add Surface Mount and Active/Production if those fields are supported.
  6. Functional groups absent: Group terminals by Power, Ground, Logic Control, and each switch channel for clearer symbol semantics.
No severe footprint error was confirmed, so no library quality ticket was filed.
