Datasheet Pin Grouping

Done — I generalized the functional groups and set every pin’s Section to match its Pin Group exactly.
Open items:
  • None.
Suggested next steps:
  1. Review the symbol visually to confirm the new broad groups read the way you want.
  2. If desired, I can also reorder the symbol pins by these generalized sections.
Assign a Terminal Order from 1 to 10, starting with Power. Power should be Terminal Order 1, and Ground should be last, Terminal Order 10. For Orientation, set Power to "Top" and Ground to "Bottom." For the remaining sections/groups, you may decide the Terminal Order and Orientation yourself. For Orientation, distribute them between "Left" and "Right" — don't put everything on one side. Each group/section should have a different orientation.
I’ll assign Terminal Order and Orientation by group, keeping Power at order 1/top and Ground at order 10/bottom; since there are more groups than four orientation values, I’ll distribute the remaining groups across left/right rather than forcing an impossible unique orientation per group.
Done — Terminal Order and Pin Orientation are assigned across the pin groups.
Open items:
  • Because the part has more functional groups than unique orientation values, I distributed non-power/ground groups between Left and Right rather than making every group uniquely oriented.
Suggested next steps:
  1. Visually inspect/regenerate the symbol to confirm the grouping layout reads well.
  2. If you want, I can revise the group ordering to prioritize RF/USB/debug differently.

Pin Grouping Applied
Every physical pin was assigned to exactly one primary group. Alternate functions are captured in pin descriptions, not by duplicating pins across groups.

Total grouped pins: 97 / 97.
Symbol Cross-check
  • Terminal count matches datasheet: 97.
  • Pin numbers 1-97 are present.
  • Pin names match the datasheet terminal table, with acceptable uniqueness suffixes for repeated GND and RESERVED terminals.
  • P0.18/NRESET uses uppercase NRESET in the symbol while datasheet uses nRESET; function is the same.
  • Pin descriptions and pin electrical types were added from the datasheet during this review.
  • No duplicated physical pin assignments were created in grouping.
Footprint Cross-check
  • The layout contains 97 pads, matching the datasheet terminal count.
  • Pad size appears consistent with the datasheet's 0.30 mm x 0.45 mm nominal land/pad dimensions if the layout values are interpreted in the platform's internal meter-style coordinate scale.
  • Pad placement envelope appears consistent with a roughly 10.5 mm x 8.3 mm module footprint.
  • There is an apparent unit-label ambiguity in the layout inspection output: pad size is reported as 0.0003 x 0.00045 with unit labeled mm. Interpreted literally this would be too small; interpreted as meters/internal units it corresponds to 0.30 mm x 0.45 mm and matches the datasheet.
Mismatches / Flags
  1. No blocking symbol pinout mismatch found. Symbol pin numbers and terminal names align with the datasheet.
  2. Pin type/description metadata was initially sparse. All terminals were previously mostly Unspecified; this was corrected by adding datasheet-backed Pin Group, Section, Pin Type, Voltage where applicable, and Pin Description properties.
  3. Footprint unit ambiguity. The footprint looks dimensionally plausible only when interpreting layout numbers as internal meter-scale values. If a downstream export interprets these numbers literally as mm, the footprint would be 1000x too small. This should be checked in the PCB/3D viewer or by export validation.
  4. Official web URL was not replaced. A datasheet URL was already set, so per instruction I did not perform web search or overwrite it. The attached PDF appears to be the Murata datasheet content used for verification.
