I found the official NVE ALT-series datasheet and recorded its URL in the project metadata; now I’m checking the pinout and DFN footprint details against it.
Reviewed ALT024-10E against the official NVE datasheet and created the detailed report in project docs: ALT024-10E Part Review (alt024-10e-part-review).
Key findings: pins 1–6 match the datasheet, the 7-pad DFN6 structure is consistent, and the official datasheet is https://www.nve.com/Downloads/ALTxxx-10.pdf. Main mismatches are that Part Type is set to “Transistors” instead of sensor/magnetometer, and pad 7 is labeled/type-treated as GND-PAD / Power In even though the datasheet describes it as an exposed leadframe pad, not GND.

  • Pad count is correct: six perimeter pads plus one center pad.
  • Pad labels align with the datasheet pinout for pins 1–6.
  • Silkscreen/fab outline visually shows a 2.5 mm square body and pin-1 indicator.
  • Tool output did not expose exact current pad sizes/coordinates, so exact land-pattern dimension matching could not be fully proven from structured inspection. Available visual geometry appears consistent with the 2.5 × 2.5 mm DFN6 outline.
Mismatches and recommendations
  1. Part Type is set to “Transistors,” but the datasheet describes this as a TMR analog magnetic sensor / magnetometer. Recommended: change Part Type to Sensor if available.
  2. Pad 7 is labeled “GND-PAD,” but the datasheet says the center pad is internally connected to the leadframe and is not identified as ground. Recommended: rename/describe pad 7 as EP, PAD, or LEADFRAME; avoid implying it must be tied to GND unless NVE’s application guidance explicitly says so.
  3. Datasheet URL was missing from visible project properties. Official URL found: https://www.nve.com/Downloads/ALTxxx-10.pdf. I recorded it in Implementation Details because the available project-property editor did not expose a dedicated Datasheet URL field.
  4. Pin 7 Pin Type is currently Power In via the GND-PAD terminal. Recommended: change to Passive/Mechanical/Exposed Pad if the platform supports it.
Overall verdict
The pinout for pins 1–6 and the 7-pad DFN6 structure are consistent with the NVE datasheet. The main issues are metadata classification and the exposed pad naming/type: pad 7 should not be treated as a normal GND supply pin based on the datasheet wording.
