Part Verification and Datasheet Update

Review complete. I found the official TI datasheet for LM5010MHX/NOPB (https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm5010.pdf) and attempted to update the Datasheet URL; the project still reports a hosted PDF URL afterward, but the source content matches TI’s LM5010 datasheet.
Key findings:
  • MPN/manufacturer: LM5010MHX/NOPB, Texas Instruments — matches datasheet.
  • Package/pin count: HTSSOP/PWP, 14 pins + exposed pad — schematic has 14 terminals plus EP, matching.
  • Pin mapping: Matches datasheet for NC1, SW, BST, ISEN, SGND, RTN, NC2, NC3, FB, SS, RON/SD, VCC, VIN, NC4, and EP.
  • Footprint: Footprint appears to be a 14-pin PowerPAD/TSSOP-style footprint with exposed pad, consistent with TI PWP0014A.
  • Mismatch/cleanup item: All terminal Pin Type fields are currently Unspecified; datasheet functions imply inputs/outputs/power/ground/NC should be assigned for better part review/ERC quality.
Key specs: 8–75 V input, >1 A buck regulator, 1.25 A valley current limit typical, 2.5 V FB reference, 7 V VCC regulator typical, switching frequency can exceed 1 MHz, operating temperature −40 to 125 °C.
Update the Pin Type fields based on the datasheet functions.
I’ll update each terminal’s Pin Type from the LM5010 datasheet pin-function table, then re-read the symbol to confirm the changes.
Updated and verified all Pin Type fields from the LM5010 datasheet.
  • VIN: Power In
  • VCC: Power Out
  • RTN, SGND, EP: Ground
  • SW: Output
  • BST, ISEN, FB, SS, RON/SD: Input
  • NC_1, NC_2, NC_3, NC_4: Not Connected

    Buck Switching Regulator IC Positive Adjustable 2.5V 1 Output 1A 14-PowerTSSOP (0.173", 4.40mm Width)
The LM5010 step-down switching regulator features all the functions needed to implement a low-cost, efficient, buck bias regulator capable of supplying in excess of 1-A load current. This high-voltage regulator contains an N-Channel Buck Switch, and is available in thermally enhanced 10-pin WSON and 14-pin HTSSOP packages. The hysteretic regulation scheme requires no loop compensation, resulting in fast load transient response, and simplifies circuit implementation. The operating frequency remains constant with line and load variations due to the inverse relationship between the input voltage and the ON-time. The valley current limit detection is set at 1.25 A. Additional features include: VCC undervoltage lockout, thermal shutdown, gate drive undervoltage lockout, and maximum duty cycle limiter
Features 1• Input Voltage Range: 8 V to 75 V • Valley Current Limit At 1.25 A • Switching Frequency Can Exceed 1 MHz • Integrated N-Channel Buck Switch • Integrated Start-Up Regulator • No Loop Compensation Required • Ultra-Fast Transient Response • Operating Frequency Remains Constant With Load and Line Variations • Maximum Duty Cycle Limited During Start-Up • Adjustable Output Voltage • Precision 2.5-V Feedback Reference • Thermal Shutdown • Exposed Thermal Pad for Improved Heat Dissipation 2 Applications • High Efficiency Point-of-Load (POL) Regulator • Non-Isolated Telecommunications Buck Regulator • Secondary High Voltage Post Regulator • Automotive Systems
