The schematic BOM is now in Flux with 53 components added and source metadata preserved. I’m moving to connectivity next, starting with rails, USB-C, SD card, CAN, buttons, and LED nets.
Reconstruction is in Flux: I added the YachtWave Rev B schematic BOM, recreated the major power/USB/SD/CAN/LED/switch nets, marked unused ESP32/USB-C pins as no-connect, and saved details in KiCad Schematic Reconstruction Report.
Open items:
ERC still has 9 floating-pin warnings in the power-input/filter/jumper area: C13, C5, FL1, L1, JP1, and R10.
A few exact parts were unavailable, so closest library alternatives were used and flagged in the report.
Suggested next steps:
Do one focused cleanup pass on the remaining 9 floating pins.
Assign Flux-native footprints/packages to generic passives.
Visually organize the schematic into readable functional blocks.
Rebuild PCB placement/layout from the KiCad PCB reference.
Wirelessly connects nets on schematic. Used to organize schematics and separate functional blocks. To wirelessly connect net portals, give them same designator. #portal
