Breakout-module form factor: you can mount the module with pin headers/sockets, then unplug/replace the entire display as needed.
Many 1.3" boards expose both a 7-pin 0.1 in header (SPI signals) and an auxiliary cable connector on the module PCB, enabling quick replacement without rework.

Notes

Controller and pin order vary by vendor (SSD1306/SSD1315/SH1107 families). Before finalizing the footprint, verify the module’s exact SPI pinout and mechanical drawing in its datasheet.
If you prefer cable-based swaps, pick a module that has a board-mounted JST-style connector (detachable cable). If you prefer socketing, choose a module with a straight 7-pin 2.54 mm header footprint.
