Pixel USB-C assembly (phone owns CC/PD) VBUS_TAP / GND | v [30 V TVS + eFuse/hot-swap + reverse blocking] | v [UVLO / inrush / current limit] | v [4-switch synchronous buck-boost, 4.5–21 V -> 4.15 V] | +---- Kelvin VOUT_SENSE+ / VOUT_SENSE- | v [low-profile ceramic/polymer transient buffer + OVP] | v BMS_CELL+ / BMS_CELL- -> exposed cell-side pads of original Pixel battery BMS/flex High-current return: BMS_CELL- -> converter PGND -> protected VBUS return -> GND tap. The original BMS/flex gauge, authentication, and temperature interface remains connected to the phone.
Table
| Block | Reference classification | Decision |
|---|---|---|
| VBUS tap connector/test interface | None | Real low-profile connector/test-point parts from library |
| Input surge, inrush, UVLO, and reverse blocking | None | Datasheet-backed eFuse/hot-swap and TVS from scratch |
| High-current four-switch buck-boost | None pending broad reference search | Use a documented controller/reference circuit; import only if a focused matching block exists |
| Output OVP/current limit and capacitive buffer | None | Datasheet-backed protection plus generic low-profile passives |
| BMS cell-pad connector/test interface | None | Real low-profile connector/test-point parts from library |
