Part Audit Report Scope
Review of PJ-058BH metadata, official Same Sky datasheet, schematic symbol, terminal metadata, KiCad footprint, and 3D-model asset.

Audit complete. The existing datasheet URL is valid, so no property update was needed; it matches Same Sky’s official PJ-058BH documentation.
Critical finding: all three terminal holes are Ø3.10 mm circles, but the manufacturer specifies 3.00 × 0.80 mm plated slots. The symbol also lacks contact/switch graphics and pin descriptions; pins 2–3 should be shown normally closed without a plug. I filed a part-quality report.

I want you to replace the three circular terminal drills with datasheet-compliant plated slots and verify the footprint.
I’ll replace pads 1–3 with 3.00 × 0.80 mm plated slots at their existing datasheet-correct centers, preserve the Ø2.20 mm NPTH, then verify pad geometry and footprint alignment.
Replaced all three terminal drills with datasheet-compliant plated slots:
  • Pins 1 and 2: 0.80 × 3.00 mm vertical slots
  • Pin 3: 3.00 × 0.80 mm horizontal slot
  • Pad centers and 4.65 mm copper lands preserved
  • Ø2.20 mm NPTH unchanged
  • Verified plated through-hole status, all-layer annular rings, pin numbering, and geometry
  • No open DRC or manufacturing warnings remain

The datasheet does not prescribe application polarity; center-positive versus center-negative is determined by circuit wiring.
Schematic-symbol review
Findings
  • Three symbol terminals exist and pin numbers 1, 2, and 3 match the datasheet.
  • All three terminals have Pin Type = Unspecified and no pin descriptions.
  • Pin names are only numeric; the symbol does not identify center, sleeve, or switched sleeve.
  • Pin Group, Section, and Terminal Order are unset.
  • The custom symbol SVG contains only a rectangular body and three terminal lines. It does not draw the jack contacts or the normally-closed 2–3 switching relationship.
  • The rendered symbol is therefore electrically ambiguous and does not visually match the datasheet schematic.
  • Pin-orientation metadata reports all pins as Left, despite stored pin positions existing on both sides. This is internally inconsistent.

Critical mismatch
All three electrical terminal holes are circular Ø3.10 mm in the footprint, but the manufacturer calls for 3.00 mm × 0.80 mm plated slots. Their centers are correct, but the hole shape and width are not. This footprint is not suitable for fabrication as-is: the oversized circular holes substantially reduce lead capture, mechanical retention, annular copper, and solder-joint quality. The pads should be rebuilt as plated slots matching the manufacturer drawing, with an appropriate copper annulus.
The rectangular fab outline is approximately 15.2 mm × 9.0 mm and is consistent with the main body dimensions. The Ø2.20 mm mechanical hole and all feature centers match the datasheet.
3D-model review
  • A STEP model is attached and referenced at scale 1:1.
  • The source footprint applies a -90° X rotation and an offset.
  • Presence and transform were confirmed, but precise body-to-pad alignment was not conclusively measurable from the available indexed/rendered data. The footprint, not the 3D render, remains the manufacturing source of truth.
Mismatches and risks
  1. Critical footprint mismatch: three terminal drills are Ø3.10 mm circles instead of 3.00 mm × 0.80 mm plated slots.
  2. Symbol ambiguity: internal jack contacts and the normally-closed 2–3 switch are not drawn.
  3. Missing pin descriptions: pins 1–3 do not identify center, sleeve, and switched sleeve functions.
  4. Pin types incomplete: all terminals are Unspecified rather than Passive.
  5. Terminal organization incomplete: groups, sections, and orders are unset.
  6. Orientation inconsistency: all terminal orientations are marked Left although pins are stored on both symbol sides.
  7. Datasheet link quality: a datasheet URL is present and valid, but it is an uploaded mirror rather than the stable official Same Sky URL.
Overall assessment
The identity, manufacturer, pin count, mount style, main specifications, feature coordinates, body outline, and mechanical hole are correct. The electrical pad drill geometry is a fabrication-critical error, and the schematic symbol/terminal metadata requires clarification before this part should be considered production-ready.
