  • Make the functional group more general.
  • Add a Section property to all pins, and apply the same value used in the Pin Group property to each pin's Section property.
Assign a Terminal Order from 1 to 10, starting with Power. Power should be Terminal Order 1, and Ground should be last, Terminal Order 10. For Orientation, set Power to "Top" and Ground to "Bottom." For the remaining sections/groups, you may decide the Terminal Order and Orientation yourself. For Orientation, distribute them between "Left" and "Right" — don't put everything on one side. Each group/section should have a different orientation.

I’m blocked because there are still no available ACUs, so I can’t inspect or mutate the component pins in the project.
Planned update once ACUs are available:
  • Use broad/general functional groups.
  • Ensure each physical pin belongs to exactly one Pin Group.
  • Add Section to every pin with the same value as its Pin Group.
  • Assign:
    • Power → Terminal Order 1, Orientation Top
    • Ground → Terminal Order 10, Orientation Bottom
  • Assign remaining groups Terminal Order 2–9, split across Left and Right so sections are not all on one side.
I’ll apply this directly to the part symbol when ACUs are restored.

Use these remaining orientations: inputs left, outputs right, control left, comms right.

Understood. I’ll use this orientation scheme when ACUs are available and I can edit the project:
  • Power → Terminal Order 1, Orientation Top
  • Inputs → Orientation Left
  • Outputs → Orientation Right
  • Control → Orientation Left
  • Comms → Orientation Right
  • Ground → Terminal Order 10, Orientation Bottom
I’ll also keep Section equal to Pin Group for every pin and ensure no pin is assigned to more than one group.
