Part Datasheet Review and Cross-Check

I’ll inspect the part metadata, find and set the official datasheet if it’s missing, then compare the symbol/footprint/pin descriptions against the source and report any mismatches.
The part already has a JAE datasheet URL set, so I’ll use that as the source of truth and continue with the cross-check.
Reviewed MX44006NF1 against the JAE MX44 datasheet; the Datasheet URL was already set, so no property update was needed. Key findings and full spec notes are in MX44006NF1 Datasheet Cross-Check.
Open items:
  • Symbol pin descriptions are missing, and pin types are currently Unspecified.
  • Footprint visually matches the expected 6 contacts + 2 mounting holes, but exact pad/hole dimensions were not exposed for numeric verification.
Suggested next steps:
  1. Update pin descriptions and pin types to match connector contact usage.
  2. Numerically verify/edit the footprint hole diameters and 3.5 mm pitch if pad geometry editing is available.
  3. Confirm PCB pad numbering orientation against the datasheet No.1 marking before release.

Symbol cross-check
  • Pin count matches datasheet: project has pins/terminals 1-6 and datasheet part is 6-position.
  • Numbering is consistent at a basic level: schematic terminal properties use pin numbers 1 through 6.
  • Datasheet numbering note: when viewing the mating face/front drawing, the order across the face is 6 5 4 3 2 1, with No. 1 marked at the rightmost contact.
  • Current symbol pin descriptions are missing/undefined; pins only have Pin Type: Unspecified and no meaningful connector/contact descriptions.
Footprint cross-check
  • Layout includes six pads and two mounting holes, matching the datasheet requirement for 6 contacts plus 2 board-lock holes.
  • Silkscreen/body outline appears to span approximately 24.0 mm wide by 23.3 mm deep, consistent with the datasheet body/mechanical dimensions C=24.0 mm and 23.3 mm shown in the drawing.
  • Footprint visual inspection shows connector outline and pin-1 marker present.
  • The current inspection output did not expose exact copper pad diameters/locations for the six pads and mounting holes, so I could not numerically verify Ø1.1 contact holes, Ø2.2 board-lock holes, 3.5 mm pitch, 17.5 mm outer span, or board-edge offsets from layout data.
Mismatches / risks flagged
  1. Pin descriptions are absent: schematic terminals have undefined pin entries and no Pin Description values.
  2. Pin types are generic/unspecified: connector terminals should normally be passive/contact pins rather than Unspecified.
  3. Footprint geometry could not be fully numerically audited because the layout inspection did not expose pad dimensions/coordinates; visually it has the expected 6 pads, 2 mount holes, outline, and pin-1 marker.
  4. Verify physical pin orientation before release: datasheet face view orders contacts 6 5 4 3 2 1, so PCB pad numbering must match the actual right-angle header orientation and No.1 mark.
  • Add Pin Description values such as Connector contact 1 through Connector contact 6.
  • Set connector terminal Pin Type to Passive or equivalent contact/signal classification.
  • If the platform exposes editable footprint pad rules, verify or set contact holes to Ø1.1 mm, board-lock holes to Ø2.2 mm, contact pitch to 3.5 mm, and outer contact span to 17.5 mm.
