Completed the datasheet-backed review and grouped every terminal into exactly one functional group, with Section matching Pin Group and updated pin descriptions/types. The official MPS Datasheet URL was already present, so I didn’t change it.
Open items flagged:
  • Part Type is empty.
  • Description uses “45V” where datasheet operating VIN is 4V–40V; 45V is absolute max.
  • Footprint has 22 pads vs QFN-18 logical pin table; likely wettable-flank duplicate pads, but pads 19–22 should be mechanically verified.
  • Manufacturer facet metadata shows Other despite MPS being set.
  • Fab outline may be slightly narrow vs datasheet package body.

  • Make the functional group more general.
  • Add a Section property to all pins, and apply the same value used in the Pin Group property to each pin's Section property.
Assign a Terminal Order from 1 to 10, starting with Power. Power should be Terminal Order 1, and Ground should be last, Terminal Order 10. For Orientation, set Power to "Top" and Ground to "Bottom." For the remaining sections/groups, you may decide the Terminal Order and Orientation yourself. For Orientation, distribute them between "Left" and "Right" — don't put everything on one side. Each group/section should have a different orientation.

I’ll simplify the pin groups to broad categories, set Section equal to Pin Group on every pin, and assign order/orientation with Power first/top and Ground last/bottom.

Done. I simplified the functional groups to four broad categories and verified every pin now has Section = Pin Group.
Applied grouping:
  • Power — Terminal Order 1, Orientation Top
  • Control — Terminal Order 2, Orientation Left
  • Output — Terminal Order 3, Orientation Right
  • Ground — Terminal Order 10, Orientation Bottom
Each physical pin is still assigned to only one group.
