Part Review and Datasheet Update

Completed the part review and set the official Espressif ESP32-S3-DevKitC-1 v1.1 documentation as the Datasheet URL. I created the full review report here: ESP32-S3-DEVKITC-1-N16R8V Part Review.
Open items:
  • GPIO35/GPIO36/GPIO37 are exposed as normal bidirectional pins, but for the N16R8V/WROOM-2 variant they are used internally for flash/PSRAM and should be flagged as unavailable.
  • GPIO38 should mention the v1.1 RGB LED connection.
  • Pin descriptions could be enriched with official alternate functions and power-source notes.
Suggested next steps:
  1. Update the affected pin descriptions/properties.
  2. Clean up the part description text.
  3. Re-check the footprint dimensions if numeric pad/outline data becomes available.
Fix the flagged pin descriptions, clean up the part description, then run an ERC/DRC review.
I’ll update the flagged GPIO/power/USB pin descriptions, clean up the project description, then run ERC/DRC and report remaining issues.
Pin descriptions and the project description are updated. I’m running the electrical and layout checks now.
Updated the flagged pin descriptions for GPIO35/GPIO36/GPIO37, GPIO38, USB D+/D−, and power pins, and replaced the noisy part description with a concise Espressif/N16R8V-specific description.
Open items:
  • ERC/DRC returned no matching errors, warnings, or informational checks; the review system reports a fresh review timestamp but no check entries for this part-only project.
Suggested next steps:
  1. Optionally rename 5V0 to 5V for exact Espressif header naming.
  2. Add richer alternate-function descriptions to every GPIO terminal if you want a fully annotated symbol.
  3. Re-run part review checks after publishing or before library reuse.
