Audit complete. The 8-pin electrical mapping and main quarter-brick geometry match the Cincon datasheet, but footprint drills for power pins 4 and 8 are critically undersized—1.22 mm holes for 1.50 mm pins. Metadata also incorrectly classifies the converter as a Logic/AND IC, and pin types/descriptions need cleanup.
The existing Datasheet URL was preserved because it was already populated; the official Cincon datasheet was used for verification. Full findings are in CQB150W-24S12 Part Audit. An internal part-quality report was filed.
Fix the footprint drill and pad sizes for pins 4 and 8 per the Cincon datasheet.
The datasheet specifies Ø1.50 mm device pins but no recommended land pattern. I’m sizing pins 4 and 8 to Ø1.80 mm finished holes with Ø3.00 mm copper pads, providing 0.30 mm diametral assembly clearance and a 0.60 mm annular ring.
Fixed and verified footprint pins 4 (-V_OUTPUT) and 8 (+V_OUTPUT):
  • Finished drill: Ø1.80 mm
  • Copper pad: Ø3.00 mm
  • Annular ring: 0.60 mm
  • Pad type: plated through-hole, circular
These dimensions accommodate the datasheet’s Ø1.50 mm power pins with practical assembly clearance.

  • The part already had a Datasheet URL set to a Datasheet Archive mirror. Per the request, the property was not changed because it was not empty. The official Cincon URL above is preferable for a future metadata cleanup.

Schematic symbol and pins
The current electrical pin numbering and names match the rendered official mechanical drawing:

The two additional terminals, MH1 and MH2, represent mechanical mounting inserts rather than electrical pins. Counting them as terminals produces the published count of 10, but the part should clearly distinguish 8 electrical pins + 2 mechanical features.
Symbol metadata issues
  • Every terminal is set to Pin Type: Unspecified.
  • No substantive pin-description text is present.
  • Suggested electrical types:
    • Pins 1 and 3: Power In
    • Pins 4 and 8: Power Out
    • Pin 2: Input / control
    • Pins 5, 6, and 7: Signal or Passive, with descriptions explaining remote sense and trim
    • MH1/MH2: Mechanical/non-electrical rather than normal signal terminals
Footprint cross-check
Geometry that matches
  • Electrical pin positions match the official bottom-view quarter-brick pattern:
    • Pins 1–3 on one column at 7.62 mm spacing
    • Pins 4–8 on the opposite column at 50.80 mm horizontal separation
    • Pins 4–8 use 3.81 mm vertical spacing
  • Body outline is approximately 57.9 × 36.8 mm.
  • The two mounting-feature locations are consistent with the official drawing.
  • Input/control/sense/trim pin hole sizes are larger than their nominal 1.02 mm pin diameter and are mechanically plausible.
Critical footprint mismatch
  • The datasheet specifies pins 4 and 8 as Ø1.50 mm power pins.
  • The footprint uses a 1.22 mm drill for pins 4 and 8.
  • A 1.50 mm pin cannot fit through a 1.22 mm finished hole. This is a critical manufacturability error and the footprint should not be used as-is.
  • The copper pad diameter for pins 4 and 8 is only 1.83 mm. After increasing the drill to a practical value above 1.50 mm, the pad must also be enlarged to retain a manufacturable annular ring.
Mounting-feature caution
The standard MPN uses threaded M3 × 0.5 inserts on the module. The footprint models these as 3.7 mm plated through-hole pads and exposes them as MH1/MH2 terminals. Confirm the intended assembly method and whether these PCB features should be non-plated clearance holes, plated mechanical holes, or omitted. They are not electrical pins in the Cincon pin table.
Overall result
Electrical pin mapping and the main quarter-brick geometry are correct, but the part is not production-ready. The undersized drills on power pins 4 and 8 are a hard mechanical failure. Metadata classification and pin typing/descriptions also need cleanup. An internal Flux part-quality report was filed for the footprint and classification issues.
