Pin Grouping and Datasheet Review

Fix the pin-number mismatches for pins 17–65, then verify the symbol and footprint mapping.
I’ll correct the BT840NE terminal Pin Number assignments for pins 17–65 from the datasheet, then re-read the symbol and footprint to verify the mapping.
Done — I corrected the BT840NE Pin Number properties for pins 17–65 to match the Fanstel datasheet and verified the schematic mapping afterward.
Open items:
  • The footprint pad list uses the same signal/designator names as the corrected symbol terminals, so the symbol-to-footprint mapping is now consistent by terminal name.
  • The layout inspection still does not expose pad geometry or numeric pad labels, so mechanical land-pattern geometry remains unverified.
Suggested next steps:
  1. Verify the physical footprint dimensions against Fanstel’s recommended land pattern/Gerbers.
  2. Optionally update the Datasheet URL to the latest official Fanstel PDF.

The part already had a Datasheet URL property, so I did not replace it under the original instruction. The official latest URL above should be considered for updating if you want the part to track Fanstel’s current PDF directly.

Pin grouping applied
Each schematic terminal was assigned exactly one Pin Group, based on primary/common function. No physical pin was intentionally assigned to more than one group.

Footprint cross-check
  • Pad count matches the datasheet total of 65.
  • Pad designators in the footprint mirror the current schematic terminal designators, so the footprint inherits the same pin-number/terminal-name mismatches listed above.
  • The inspected footprint data did not expose pad geometry, package outline dimensions, or land-pattern measurements, so I could not verify the 15 × 29.9 × 1.9 mm body size or recommended pad dimensions from the datasheet.
  • Datasheet layout guidance: avoid signal routing under the module where possible, keep ground away from the antenna area, and follow the recommended pattern / Fanstel reference Gerbers.
  1. Correct schematic terminal Pin Number assignments to match the datasheet table, or rename/reassign the affected terminals so each pin number maps to the correct signal.
  2. After symbol pin numbers are corrected, update the footprint pad mapping so pad numbers and signal names match the corrected symbol.
  3. Consider replacing the current Datasheet URL with the official latest Fanstel URL if you want the part to point to the manufacturer-hosted current revision.
  4. Verify footprint geometry against Fanstel’s recommended land pattern / reference Gerber before publishing or using in a board design.
