Completed the part review and saved the detailed findings in AONS66614 Part Review.
Key flags: the official AOS datasheet URL is available but the project currently uses an IHS mirror; Part Type is missing; pin metadata is incomplete; and the footprint’s pad 9 / exposed-pad assignment is high-risk because it is currently D_5 while AONS source-down package evidence suggests it may need to be Source. The core pins 1–8 match the datasheet pinout, and the DFN5x6_8L_EP1_P footprint geometry appears mechanically consistent.
Populate all pin types and pin descriptions from the datasheet.
I’ll update each terminal’s Pin Type and Pin Description from the AONS66614 datasheet pinout, then verify the properties were applied.

Mismatches / Issues to Flag
  1. High risk: exposed-pad / pad 9 assignment. Current part has pin 9 as D_5. The official AONS66614 datasheet only explicitly defines pins 1-8; AOS source-down DFN5x6 documentation says the large PCB-side pad is Source. This should be verified and likely changed to a source exposed pad if this is the intended AONS source-down package.
  2. Pin metadata incomplete. All terminal Pin Type values are Unspecified and Pin Description properties are missing.
  3. Part Type missing. Flux component review reports missing project Part Type.
  4. Datasheet URL is not the preferred official source. A URL exists, so no automatic update was required by the request, but the current link is an IHS mirror. Prefer the official AOS datasheet URL for a published part.
  5. Manufacturer name minor mismatch. Current value is plural “Semiconductors”; official branding is “Alpha & Omega Semiconductor” / AOS.
  6. Footprint name inherited from AON6482. Geometry appears compatible with DFN5x6_8L_EP1_P, but the naming and pad 9 mapping should be reviewed because AON6482 may not share the same source-down electrical pad assignment.
  1. Confirm pad 9 electrical assignment from an authoritative AOS ECAD model or support response. If source, rename D_5 to S_EP/S_PAD and map pin 9 to Source.
  2. Populate Pin Type and Pin Description for all terminals.
  3. Set Part Type to N-channel MOSFET / MOSFET.
  4. Replace the Datasheet URL with the official AOS URL if project-property editing is available.
  5. Rename or document the footprint as DFN5x6_8L_EP1_P for AONS66614 rather than AON6482.
