Part Audit Review

Review all available part information (MPN, package, pin count, description, properties). If no datasheet URL is already set, search the web for the official datasheet and update the part's Datasheet property with the URL. Then cross-check the schematic symbol, footprint, and pin descriptions against the datasheet. Summarize key specs and flag any mismatches.
I’ll audit the part metadata, locate the official manufacturer documentation if needed, then verify the symbol, footprint, and pin descriptions and report any discrepancies.

Audit of the Silvertel AG5412 part metadata, schematic symbol, footprint, and pin descriptions against the current official Silvertel Ag5400...
Audit complete. The AG5412 symbol pinout and verified footprint spacing match the official Silvertel datasheet; the existing Datasheet property was already populated, so no update was needed.
Key gaps: missing Package/Description metadata and pin descriptions; the required 1.1 mm PTH drills and mechanical keepout could not be fully confirmed. Full results: Part Audit Report.

The symbol does not contain terminal-description properties. Names, numbers, and electrical types are otherwise consistent with the datasheet. The __1 / __2 suffixes are duplicate-name disambiguators in project data; they should display as IC and -VDC in the user-facing symbol.
Footprint cross-check
The footprint contains ten pads. Read-back geometry shows:
  • Pins 1 through 6 are on 2.54 mm centers.
  • Pins 7 through 10 are on 2.54 mm centers.
  • The gap from pin 6 to pin 7 is 30.48 mm.
  • Pin 1 is rectangular for pin-1 identification; the remaining pads are circular.
  • Copper pad diameter reads back as approximately 1.725 mm.
These positions match the datasheet's 2.54 ±0.05 mm pitch and 30.48 ±0.25 mm major spacing.
Footprint items not fully verifiable from current read-back
  • The required 1.1 ±0.05 mm plated-through drill diameter was not exposed in the computed pad data.
  • The imported footprint's body outline, courtyard, and datasheet component keep-out geometry could not be fully compared from indexed asset data.
  • The datasheet indicates a component keep-out/isolation area; no explicit keepout rule was visible in the inspected PCB rules.
Before publishing the part for production use, manually confirm the drill is 1.1 mm PTH and that the body/keepout outline follows Figure 14 of the official datasheet.
Findings
Confirmed matches
  • Correct MPN, manufacturer, family, pin count, pin numbering, pin functions, and electrical types.
  • Correct 12 V / 30 W variant identification.
  • Footprint pin pitch and major inter-group spacing match the official mechanical drawing.
  • Pin-1 shape distinction is present.
  • Existing Datasheet property is populated, so it was not changed.
Mismatches and gaps
  1. Package property is absent; recommended value: SIL, 57.3 mm × 14 mm, 10-pin.
  2. Description property is absent; recommended value: High-efficiency isolated 30 W PoE+ PD module, 12 V output.
  3. Pin description fields are absent for all terminals.
  4. Footprint drill diameter cannot be confirmed from current read-back; official requirement is 1.1 ±0.05 mm PTH.
  5. Explicit component keep-out/isolation geometry was not visible and should be checked against the datasheet package drawing.
Overall assessment
The part is electrically consistent with the AG5412 datasheet and the verified pad locations match the official pin-spacing pattern. It is suitable at the symbol/pin-mapping level, but footprint drill and keep-out verification remain important manufacturing checks. Metadata quality would improve by adding Package, Description, and per-pin descriptions.
