Pin Grouping by Function


Assign a Terminal Order from 1 to 10, starting with Power. Power should be Terminal Order 1, and Ground should be last, Terminal Order 10. For Orientation, set Power to "Top" and Ground to "Bottom." For the remaining sections/groups, you may decide the Terminal Order and Orientation yourself. For Orientation, distribute them between "Left" and "Right" — don't put everything on one side. Each group/section should have a different orientation.
There are currently 6 groups, but only 4 orientation values (Top, Bottom, Left, Right), so every group cannot have a unique orientation.
Should I proceed with:
  1. Power — order 1, Top
  2. Logic Interface — order 2, Left
  3. Power Control — order 3, Right
  4. RS-485 Bus — order 4, Right
  5. Not Internally Connected — order 5, Left
  6. Ground — order 10, Bottom
Terminal Order would remain unique and sequential among pins inside each group.
Use the proposed order and orientations, and keep terminal ordering sequential within each group.
Applied the approved ordering and orientations:
  • Power: starts at 1 — Top
  • Logic Interface: starts at 2 — Left
  • Power Control: 3 — Right
  • RS-485 Bus: starts at 4 — Right
  • Not Internally Connected: starts at 5 — Left
  • Ground: starts at 10 — Bottom
Terminal ordering is sequential within each group.
