Pin Function Grouping

Assign a Terminal Order from 1 to 10, starting with Power. Power should be Terminal Order 1, and Ground should be last, Terminal Order 10. For Orientation, set Power to "Top" and Ground to "Bottom." For the remaining sections/groups, you may decide the Terminal Order and Orientation yourself. For Orientation, distribute them between "Left" and "Right" — don't put everything on one side. Each group/section should have a different orientation
The AD698AP has no dedicated GND pin; pin 1 is −VS, the negative supply rail. Should I treat −VS as the “Ground” group at Terminal Order 10, or keep it classified as negative power and omit a Ground group?
Treat −VS as the ground-equivalent group at Terminal Order 10.
I’ll consolidate the pins into 10 general functional groups, assign orders 1–10, place +VS at the top and −VS at the bottom, and alternate the remaining groups across the left and right sides.
Updated all 28 pins into 10 ordered functional groups:
  • Power: order 1, Top
  • Groups 2–9: distributed between Left and Right
  • Ground Equivalent (−VS): order 10, Bottom

    LVDT Signal Conditioner IC – Converts half-bridge, 4-wire LVDT, and RVDT sensor signals into a unipolar or bipolar DC voltage proportional to position. The Analog Devices AD698AP integrates an excitation oscillator, voltage reference, synchronous demodulation, and ratiometric signal conditioning.
