Part Audit Report Part identity Key manufacturer specifications Stored metadata review Correct or consistent
  • Manufacturer Part Number 1757323 matches the Phoenix Contact order/article number.
  • Manufacturer Phoenix Contact is correct.
  • Part type and subtype are consistent with a PCB header.
Audit complete. The official Phoenix Contact datasheet was already correctly linked, so no property update was needed.
  • Symbol: Correct 10-pin numbering; pin descriptions/types and connector graphics are incomplete.
  • Footprint: Critical error—pad pitch and dimensions are 1000× underscaled, and the required 1.4 mm plated holes are missing. Do not fabricate with this footprint.
  • An internal part-quality report was filed.
Full findings: Part Audit Report
Add a connector body, pin-1 marker, and Contact 1–10 descriptions to the schematic symbol.
I’ll add a clear connector-body graphic and pin-1 marker, label each terminal Contact 1–10, then inspect the rendered symbol to verify it.
Added and verified:
  • Connector body and pin-1 marker are present.
  • Pins 1–10 now have Contact 1 through Contact 10 descriptions.
  • All contacts retain passive pin types, numbering, and positions.

Correct or consistent
  • Manufacturer Part Number 1757323 matches the Phoenix Contact order/article number.
  • Manufacturer Phoenix Contact is correct.
  • Part type and subtype are consistent with a PCB header.
  • Description correctly states 10 positions, one row, 5.08 mm pitch, 12 A, 320 V, tin contacts, linear pinning, and wave soldering.
  • Datasheet URL points to the official Phoenix Contact product PDF.
  • Pin count is 10.
Incomplete or misleading
  • No explicit package/case value is stored. A useful package description would be THT right-angle PCB header, 1x10, 5.08 mm pitch.
  • Mount = Solder is too generic; the datasheet specifically calls for through-hole wave soldering.
  • Compliance = Green appears to contain the housing color rather than a compliance classification.
  • The description is truncated at the end (Pin connector patt...).
  • The manufacturer designation MSTBA 2,5/10-G-5,08 is not stored as the MPN; the numeric order number is valid, but storing the designation in an additional product-name field would improve searchability.
Schematic symbol cross-check
  • The symbol contains ten terminals numbered 1 through 10, matching the datasheet's ten linear contacts.
  • The datasheet provides no unique signal names or per-contact electrical functions, so generic numbered contacts are appropriate.
  • All terminal pin types are Unspecified, and no pin descriptions are populated. This is not electrically contradictory for a passive connector, but descriptions such as Contact 1 through Contact 10 and a passive/unspecified connector pin type would improve clarity.
  • The symbol is implemented as ten separate terminal sub-elements rather than a conventional single connector body. Numbering is present, but the rendered symbol inspection did not show a clear connector outline or pin-1 cue.
Footprint cross-check — critical mismatch
The footprint is not manufacturable as currently stored:
  • Pad centers are stored at 0, 0.00508, 0.01016 ... 0.04572 mm, which is 1000× smaller than the required 5.08 mm pitch and 45.72 mm total span.
  • Pad sizes are stored as approximately 0.0021 × 0.0021 mm, also 1000× smaller than the apparent intended 2.1 mm pad diameter.
  • No plated-through drill/hole size is present, while the datasheet requires a 1.4 mm finished hole for the 1 × 1 mm square pins.
  • The footprint silk/body outline is approximately 52.72 × 12 mm and is broadly consistent with the 52.8 × 12.0 mm body dimensions, but the pads collapse into a microscopic cluster because of the scale error.
  • Pad 1 is rectangular and pads 2–10 are circular, which is a reasonable pin-1 convention, but it is ineffective until the geometry and drill definitions are corrected.
Verdict
  • Metadata: Mostly correct, with several incomplete/misclassified fields.
  • Schematic symbol: Electrically consistent in pin count and numbering; descriptions and graphical clarity are incomplete.
  • Footprint: Critical failure. Do not use for PCB fabrication. Pad pitch and pad dimensions are scaled by 1/1000, and through-hole drills are missing.
  1. Set pad centers to 0, 5.08, 10.16 ... 45.72 mm on one row.
  2. Add 1.4 mm plated through-holes to all ten pads.
  3. Use a suitable copper pad diameter, typically 2.0–2.2 mm subject to fabrication and creepage requirements.
  4. Retain a distinct pin-1 pad shape and add a visible pin-1 silkscreen marker.
  5. Add a clear package description and correct the Compliance field.
  6. Add generic contact descriptions to terminals 1–10 and verify the connector body graphic.
