The buck module will be used to derive an 8V rail for powering a servo. The module pins IN+, IN-, OUT+, and OUT- must be clearly labeled and connected appropriately to existing power rails (12V and common GND shared with the ESP32). Additionally, place a bulk capacitor (470–1000µF, ≥16V) and a 100nF ceramic capacitor between the 8V rail and GND near the servo connector to stabilize the output.

Place Buck Module Footprint
1. Search and add an XL4015 buck module footprint if available; otherwise, add a generic 4-pin through-hole Buck Module placeholder.

Make Power Connections
1. Connect the buck module's IN+ to the 12V input rail.

Add Supporting Capacitors

Run ERC/DRC
1. Execute ERC and DRC to validate connectivity and component placements.
2. Review and document any errors, warnings, or violations, and make required adjustments.

#Success criteria

The buck module footprint (XL4015 or generic) is correctly placed and the pins are clearly labeled as IN+, IN-, OUT+, and OUT-.
Correct electrical connections: IN+ is tied to 12V, IN- is tied to GND, OUT+ supplies the new 8V rail, and OUT- is connected to GND (common with ESP32).
The bulk capacitor (470–1000µF, ≥16V) and the 100nF ceramic capacitor are properly placed between the 8V rail and GND near the servo connector.
ERC/DRC runs without critical violations.
