VU Meter Dot/Bar Display Driver IC – 10-step analog level display driver for audio VU meters, signal strength indicators, battery level monitors, power meters, and instrumentation displays. Features a logarithmic response matched to human hearing, driving 10 LEDs, LCDs, or vacuum fluorescent (VF) displays in either dot or bar mode. Operates from a single 3 V to 25 V supply, includes an adjustable 1.2 V to 12 V precision voltage reference, and provides programmable constant-current LED outputs (typically 2 mA to 30 mA) without requiring external current-limiting resistors. Supports 70 dB display range, expandable multi-device cascading for higher resolution, and offers fast analog response for real-time level indication.
