Adafruit 2472 BNO055 breakout Adafruit BNO055 Absolute Orientation Sensor is a 9-DoF intelligent motion tracking module based on the Bosch BNO055 system-in-package sensor. The device integrates a 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis magnetometer, and an onboard ARM Cortex-M0 microcontroller running Bosch sensor fusion algorithms. Unlike traditional IMUs, the BNO055 directly outputs absolute orientation data in Euler angles, quaternions, linear acceleration, gravity vectors, and calibration information, eliminating the need for complex sensor fusion calculations on the host MCU.
