Block Diagram Arquitectura Interfaces
  • Potencia: BAT+, GND, OUT1…OUT5.
  • Control: PWM1…PWM5, ADC_I1…ADC_I5, ISO_IN1…ISO_IN5, SW1…SW5, DS18B20_DATA.
  • Los PC814 se usan solo para eventos lentos; el PWM de 20 kHz va directo a drivers high-side.
Plan de bloques / referencias
  • Protección y distribución 12 V: buscar referencia; adaptar a load-dump automotriz.
  • Buck 12 V→5 V y 5 V→3.3 V: buscar referencias automotrices; importar solo si hay bloque independiente compatible.
  • ESP32-S3 + USB/boot/reset: buscar referencia ESP32-S3.
  • Cinco canales high-side 40 A: sin referencia si no existe bloque de potencia comparable; diseño desde datasheets.
  • Entradas PC814, interruptores y DS18B20: diseño desde biblioteca/datasheets.

Project Specification Project Overview
PDM automotriz inteligente de 12 V, estado Draft, con cinco salidas high-side independientes de 40 A continuos controladas por ESP32-S3.
Intended Use
Prototipo de distribución de potencia para vehículo de 12 V y cargas resistivas/inductivas. Requiere validación térmica, EMC, ISO 7637-2 y mecánica antes de uso en vehículo.
What the Device Should Do
  • Conmutar cinco cargas high-side hasta 40 A continuos por canal.
  • PWM objetivo 20 kHz y 100% duty.
  • Medir corriente bidireccional por canal y apagar por sobrecorriente.
  • Leer cinco entradas aisladas universales, cinco interruptores manuales y un DS18B20.
  • Arrancar siempre con salidas OFF.

Power Budget and Design Notes Presupuesto preliminar de lógica
Objetivo buck 5 V: mínimo 2 A para margen de temperatura/transitorios. El regulador 3.3 V debe soportar ≥1 A; si es LDO desde 5 V, disipación típica límite ≈(5−3.3)×0.65=1.105 W, por lo que se prefiere buck 3.3 V o LDO de paquete térmico grande con cobre y verificación.
Potencia de canales
Cada canal de 40 A requiere cálculo con RDS(on) caliente. Dos MOSFET en paralelo de 2.5 mΩ cada uno a temperatura elevada equivalen a 1.25 mΩ y disipan P≈I²R=2.0 W por canal solo en conducción, sin incluir conmutación. La selección final debe usar RDS(on) a Tj y Qg del datasheet; se requieren cobre pesado, vías térmicas y/o disipador/busbar.

Firmware Starter
Se completará después de fijar las asignaciones GPIO reales del esquema. Objetivo: PlatformIO + Arduino, PWM LEDC 20 kHz, adquisición de cinco corrientes, entradas aisladas/manuales, DS18B20, OFF seguro al arranque y latch de sobrecorriente.
La arquitectura principal ya está creada y usa sensores Hall de 50 A y MOSFETs de 100 V en paralelo por canal. La revisión encontró soporte incompleto en los drivers high-side y varios ERC reales; voy a corregir esos bloques antes de considerar terminado el esquema.
Se creó el esquema base del PDM Inteligente ESP32-S3 con cinco canales high-side PWM, MOSFETs de 100 V en paralelo, sensores Hall ACS770 de 50 A, fusibles independientes, entradas PC814, conector de interruptores, DS18B20, alimentación protegida y firmware inicial.
Pendiente
  • Completar los circuitos auxiliares de los cinco TPS48100-Q1 y resolver los ERC restantes.
  • Validar o sustituir la base de fusible candidata por una referencia certificada para 40 A continuos.
  • Realizar validación térmica y mecánica para hasta 200 A simultáneos antes del layout.
No pude ejecutar la pasada final porque ya no hay ACUs disponibles. El diseño no debe pasar todavía a PCB ni fabricación.
