Scope
This file is the connector verification review and BOM-candidate status for Tiny Tim Version 4.0.
User request: import/create missing footprints, update BOM candidates, and run connector verification review.
Execution Result
The first Flux-ready schematic connector block has now been created:
  • Schematic physical connector components: 24 plus net portals created for connector-side labels
  • Nets: 34 after USB-C and rear PCIe FFC connector-side mapping
  • Live BOM unique parts: 11
  • Live BOM instances: 24
The actual Flux BOM now includes all Flux-ready connector candidates. Remaining selected connectors that are not available as exact Flux parts stay in the candidate/import queue.
Import/Create Status
The available import tool requires EDA library files, such as:
  • KiCad: .kicad_sym plus .kicad_mod, optionally .step
  • Altium: .SchLib plus .PcbLib, or .IntLib, optionally .step
  • Eagle: .lbr
  • EasyEDA JSON
  • ZIP containing any of the above
Datasheets and manufacturer pages alone are not enough to automatically create usable schematic symbols plus PCB footprints in this session.
Missing-part requests have been submitted for the selected parts that are verified publicly but not found as exact Flux library parts.

Architecture still open
  • TBT/USB4: Molex 2047110001 is only a connector candidate. The full architecture still needs controller/retimer choice, COM-HPC lane mapping, USB4/TBT compliance strategy, ESD/protection, and controlled-impedance routing plan.
  • Power input: Molex 5031590600 is verified as the board-side mate for the listed CLIK-Mate cable plug, but the power budget indicates the primary input should likely be a high-current 12 V connector. This may replace the 5V IN row.
  • Power input policy finalized for now: J_12VIN1 = AMASS XT60PW-M is the primary non-PoE 12 V input. Molex 5031590600 is demoted to low-current/service/auxiliary candidate unless explicitly retained.
  • GMSL Fakra geometry: TE 7-2287906-0 is right-angle/edge-mount, not top-entry. It is a reasonable electrical/mechanical candidate only if the design accepts this exception.
Design-Rule / BOM Review Result
Inspection run after connector-block creation:
  • Schematic summary after USB/PCIe connector-side mapping: 24 physical connector components, 11 BOM part groups, and net portals for 34 nets.
  • BOM summary after USB/PCIe connector-side mapping: 11 unique physical parts, 24 physical instances.
  • ERC/check result: floating-pin warnings are expected at this stage because COM-HPC Mini source pins, CC/SBU pins, M.2 pins, GMSL pins, JST-GH headers, and many subsystem pins are not fully mapped. Available check query returned 271 floating-pin warnings, improved from the prior 355 warnings.
  • Connector checks: no matching connector-review results were returned by the available check query. This is expected for a connector-only block with no wiring, layout placement, or board outline yet.
Next real verification gate: after missing/imported connector parts are added and connector pin mapping begins, rerun ERC for floating pins/no-connect policy and DRC for missing footprints/placement.
