Pin Function Grouping Help

Done — I grouped all 38 ADS8688IDBTR pins by their primary datasheet function and verified each physical pin has exactly one Pin Group.
Groups applied:
  • Power: AVDD pins, DVDD
  • Ground: AGND pins, DGND
  • Reference: REFSEL, REFIO, REFGND, REFCAP
  • ADC: AUX and AIN0–AIN7 input/return pins
  • SPI: SDI, DAISY, SDO, SCLK, CS
  • Control Bus: RST/PD
  • Do Not Connect: DNC
I also added standard pin types and concise pin descriptions from the datasheet.
  • Make the functional group more general.
  • Add a Section property to all pins, and apply the same value used in the Pin Group property to each pin's Section property.
I’ll simplify the pin groups to broader categories, then copy each resulting Pin Group value into the pin’s Section property.
Done — I generalized the functional groups and added Section to all 38 pins with the same value as Pin Group.
Final groups are: Power, Ground, Reference, Analog, Digital, and Reserved. Verified that each pin has matching Pin Group and Section values.
