Plan
- Design a compact, high-reliability 6-layer rocket flight avionics PCB main flight computer for a supersonic kinetic cUAS interceptor rocket. The board will fit within 58 mm x 38 mm, use a Microchip ATSAME70 MCU as the primary flight controller, integrate an Inertial Sense IMX-5 IMU for high-G navigation, offer four independent high-torque digital servo driver channels for forward titanium canards, feature full 4S LiPo power management with 5 V and 3.3 V regulated rails (including reverse-polarity and over-current protection), and include a magnetic umbilical interface for zero-latency communication with a ground-based NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super launcher brain. The design must support survival under 63 G launch acceleration, 10,000 G shock, a temperature range from -40 °C to +85 °C, vibration-hardened layout with thermal vias, and real-time closed-loop control at 25 Hz with a maximum latency of 40 ms. Deliverables include a complete schematic, an auto-routed 6-layer layout with DRC-clean design, a full BOM with NDAA-compliant parts, a 3D STEP model, and fabrication-ready Gerbers.

Define System Architecture
- Document and integrate mission, environmental, mechanical, and reliability constraints.
- Outline major subsystems: flight controller (ATSAME70 MCU), high-G inertial navigation (IMX-5 IMU), servo controller (4 independent channels for digital servos), power subsystem (4S LiPo with dual 5 V/3.3 V rails, reverse-polarity and over-current protection), and magnetic umbilical interface.

Schematic Design
- Select and add the Microchip ATSAME70 MCU with proper peripheral support.
- Add the Inertial Sense IMX-5 IMU components and interface circuits.
- Incorporate four independent digital servo driver channels including driver circuits that can handle high-torque servos.
- Design the power management section for full 4S LiPo input handling, voltage regulation to 5 V and 3.3 V, and include protection circuits (reverse-polarity and over-current protection).
- Add the magnetic umbilical interface circuitry ensuring low-latency communications with connectors compatible with the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super launcher brain.

- Configure a 6-layer PCB stackup ensuring controlled impedance and signal integrity.
- Set board dimensions to 58 mm x 38 mm.
- Place critical components (MCU, IMU, servo drivers, power, interface connectors) ensuring minimal trace lengths and optimal layout for high-G and shock survivability.
- Include thermal vias, vibration hardening, and additional grounding practices to manage extreme environmental conditions.

Routing, Verification, and Manufacturability
- Auto-route nets with emphasis on high-frequency signal integrity and proper decoupling placements.
- Perform DRC checks to ensure the design meets mechanical and electrical constraints.
- Prepare complete final deliverables including schematic, auto-routed PCB layout, BOM with NDAA-compliant parts, 3D STEP model, and Gerber files.
