Here’s how to open the Stackup Editor in Flux:

In the PCB Editor, click the Objects tab (left panel).
Select the layout object in your project tree.
In the Inspect panel (right), scroll to Layout Rules.
Click Edit → Add → stackup.
Click the pencil icon to open the full Stackup Editor.

It isn’t possible today to add or edit mechanical layers from within the component-footprint editor. Mechanical layers (including courtyard, assembly, or fabrication layers) can only be created and managed at the PCB document level via the Stackup Editor.

If you need courtyard outlines or center marks inside your footprint you’ll currently have to:

Finish designing the PCB stackup/mechanical layers in the PCB workspace
Place your manual courtyard/center-mark shapes in the PCB editor atop the module footprint after placement

I recommend up-voting or requesting “courtyard layer support in footprints” on the Flux Slack Community so the team can prioritize adding this feature in a future release:

Layers with Multiple Fills

Reports layers that have multiple copper fills of different nets. Make sure the Connected Layers rule value of nets with fills is valid.

Floating Copper

Detect any via, trace or copper fill island that is not connected to any net.

Protected Intrusions

Reports intrusions from objects of other nets into polygons or fills that have the Protected layout rule applied.

Manufacturing

Manufacturer Part Number

Reports parts that have no manufacturer part number.

System Checks

Auto-Layout

Reports issues with Auto-Layout if Flux cannot route something or must ignore a configuration.

Resistor Power Rating
