Removed the remaining dock-only schematic artifacts referencing the deleted dock path: stale U7-related portals and stale CN2 ground artifacts.
Preserved CN1 as the reserved future dock connector.
Verified earlier that the handheld core remains centered around J1, IC1, U1, U2, U3, U4, U5, U6, U10, D1, CN1, and J2.
Confirmed the remaining blockers are physical layout issues, not missing footprints or obvious schematic ERC issues.
Success criteria review
✅ Residual dock artifacts were reduced and handheld-only scope was further locked.
✅ CN1 was kept in place as the reserved future dock connector.
❌ I could not complete the required placement refinement for J1, IC1, U1, U3, and CN1 because component placement/rerouting is not available to me here.
❌ I could not drive airwires and copper DRC to zero because the remaining violations require physical trace/fill edits in the layout.
❌ Final sign-off is still blocked until those layout issues are cleared and re-verified.
Next steps
The remaining work is PCB-side: move/refine the critical placement cluster, reroute the unresolved airwires, and repair the overlapping/floating copper regions, then re-run review for a clean result. If you want, I can continue by identifying the exact remaining violating nets/components to guide the final manual cleanup.
Wirelessly connects nets on schematic. Used to organize schematics and separate functional blocks. To wirelessly connect net portals, give them same designator. #portal
