USB-C Power Hub Design

I want to power both a raspberry pi 5 and a usb-c powered screen through a single usb-c connection, allowing both to negotiate their own power requirements and for the main input to negotiate its own power needs to meet those demands with the power supply

Design a 3-port USB-C PD power hub: one upstream sink port and two independently negotiating downstream source ports.
Size the upstream PD contract and DC/DC power paths for the Raspberry Pi 5 and display simultaneously, including conversion losses and protection.
Capture and verify the schematic, then proceed to PCB layout.

I’ll use a conservative target: the screen may request up to 20 V/3 A (60 W), the Pi 5 gets a dedicated 5.1 V/5 A output, and the upstream USB-C input negotiates at least 100 W with dynamic power budgeting. I’ll document the architecture and build the first-pass power/PD schematic around those limits.
