USB-C Upstream Sink (100 W target, e-marked 5 A cable) -> CC/VBUS ESD + fuse/eFuse + reverse/current protection -> Upstream PD sink controller -> protected 20 V system bus + input current/voltage telemetry |-> 20 V to 5.1 V / >=5 A buck -> source power switch/current sense/discharge -> USB-C Port A PD source -> Raspberry Pi 5 |-> programmable buck/buck-boost 5/9/12/15/20 V, source power switch/current sense/discharge -> USB-C Port B PD source -> display `-> auxiliary logic rail -> policy MCU Policy MCU upstream sink controller Policy MCU Port A source/DRP controller Policy MCU Port B source/DRP controller Policy MCU converter setpoints, source enables, load shedding, discharge controls All policy and allocation controls are firmware-controlled. Port A is capped at 5.1 V/5 A; Port B is capped at 20 V/3 A. Simultaneous allocations must stay inside the negotiated upstream contract after conversion losses and controls allowance.
