Project description updated to "USB-C Powered 3-Axis Digital Compass Module with MAX7219 7-Segment Display (Compass-Only, Automotive Use)"
System architecture property revised to show only STM32 (U2), BMM150 (U5), MAX7219 (U3) driving displays U6–U8, power chain (U1, D3, D4, F1, U15), and brightness pot (SW1)
Removed U9–U14, U16/U17 and their passives, U4 (BMA280), and J1
Severed ONE_WIRE net and all orphaned SPI-CS and segment nets
Verified I2C pull-ups remain for U5
Restored connections: U3→U6–U8 segments, USB-C power chain (VBUS→3V3), SW1→PA6 & GND, and mounting holes cleared of nets
Success criteria met:
Only compass-relevant parts remain
All extraneous components and nets removed
Single SPI CS on U3 and valid I2C pull-ups present
Metadata reflects compass-only design
Next step: Prepare the design for PCB layout, starting with footprint review and stackup configuration.
Wirelessly connects nets on schematic. Used to organize schematics and separate functional blocks. To wirelessly connect net portals, give them same designator. #portal
