Use the rectangle or polygon tool to draw the cutout shape on the board outline (typically on the Edge Cuts or Mechanical layer). This lets you define the exact geometry of your battery cutout. -
Selection and Dimensioning Tools:
Once the shape is drawn, use the selection tool to move or resize it. The properties inspector (or dimensioning tool) allows you to fine-tune the exact dimensions and position.
