Safety Warnings
  • Use only a regulated 5 V DC supply with correct polarity.
  • Recommended supply rating is 3 A when the servo stall current is unknown.
  • Do not connect external 5 V power and USB power simultaneously unless the exact DevKit revision is confirmed safe against backfeed.
  • Disconnect power before wiring sensors, LEDs, or the servo.
  • Servo motion can pinch or strike nearby objects; secure the mechanism before testing.
Connections
  • J1: 5 V input.
  • J2: HC-SR04 VCC/TRIG/ECHO/GND.
  • J3: servo Gnd/5v/Data.
  • J4: 3.3 V microphone.
  • J5: 10 kΩ sensitivity potentiometer.
  • J6–J11: LED signal and GND outputs.
Getting Started
  1. Inspect polarity and wiring.
  2. Program the ESP32 through onboard USB with J1 disconnected.
  3. Test without the servo.
  4. Apply regulated 5 V to J1.
  5. Connect the servo only after confirming stable 5 V and 3.3 V rails.
Operating Limits
  • Indoor prototype use.
  • GPIO and analog inputs must remain within 0–3.3 V.
