Line Shape
Here’s how we can resize your Line Shape in the PCB editor:
  1. Select the "Line Shape":
    • Look for the object with UID=0dd1f9ca-4f99-478a-85fe-719e8f73b858 in the PCB layout tree or click it directly on the canvas.
  2. Adjust Start/End Offsets:
    • In the properties panel for this shape (or its containing group), you’ll see fields like Shape Start and Shape End. These define the line’s length and orientation relative to its reference point.
    • For example, if you currently have Shape Start: 1mm and Shape End: 2mm, you could change it to:
      • Shape Start: 1mm
      • Shape End: 3mm
        This would lengthen the line by 1 mm.
    • You can also tweak the X/Y coordinates separately for more precise control, like (1mm, 0) to (3mm, 0) for a purely horizontal extension.
  3. Preview the Changes:
    • Check the on‐canvas preview to ensure the line appears at the desired location and length.
  4. Apply Changes:
    • When you’re satisfied, click “apply changes”. Until this button is clicked, your modifications are not final.

Line Shape
Several things can cause a line shape to vanish in the PCB view. Common reasons include:
  1. Zero Length
    If Shape Start and Shape End are the same, or very close, the line length becomes zero and effectively disappears.
  2. Out of View
    Large coordinate values in Shape Start or Shape End could move the line off the visible area of the board.
  3. Layer Visibility
    The line might be on a layer that’s currently hidden. Verify that the silk or mechanical layer you’re using is turned on.
  4. Stroke Width
    If the stroke width is set extremely small (close to zero), the line may appear invisible.
Double‐check these parameters in the properties panel to ensure the line is on a visible layer, has a nonzero length, and uses a reasonable stroke width. If it’s still disappearing, feel free to share your specific Shape Start / Shape End values so we can see if there’s anything unusual.
