Work done
- Implemented the required power-entry chain wiring: VIN at CN1 -> F1 -> D2 -> +5V rail with TVS D1 -> LDO U1 -> +3V3, including bulk/decoupling caps C1 C2 C3
- Added and wired the SWD header J1 to the MCU U4 nets (SWDIO/SWCLK/NRST) and GND
- Added comms connectors CN2 CN3, ESD arrays U2 U3, sensors U5 U6 U7, microSD J2, and I2C pullups R2 R3 (not yet wired)
Success criteria review
- ✅ Power chain VIN -> +3V3 is fully wired as specified
- ✅ SWD header connectivity nets created (SWDIO, SWCLK, NRST, +3V3, GND)
- ❌ UART1/UART2 nets (UART1_TX/RX, UART2_TX/RX) not yet connected to U4 or routed through U2/U3
- ❌ SPI/I2C nets (SPI_MOSI/MISO/SCK, SPI_CS_IMU, SPI_CS_SD, I2C_SCL/SDA) not yet connected between U4, U5/U7, U6, and J2
- ❌ ERC currently reports "Missing Power" on U4 (needs all VDD/VDDA/VBAT pins powered and all VSS/VSSA grounded), and DRC has airwires/overlaps (layout not routed)
Next steps
- I need to (1) connect all U4 power pins (every VDD/VDDA/VBAT to +3V3, every VSS/VSSA to GND, VREF+ as appropriate) and place/attach the remaining 100 nF decouplers, then (2) choose specific U4 pins for UART1/UART2, SPI, and I2C nets and wire them through the ESD arrays to CN2/CN3, and (3) wire sensors and microSD.
To proceed without guessing: which STM32F407 pins do you want assigned to UART1, UART2, SPI (IMU+SD), and I2C (BMP388)? If you want, I can propose a default pin map and wire it.
