Pin Function Grouping

Looking at the datasheet of this component, can you group together pins by their functions? for example for Power, 3v3, gnd_1 gnd_2 etc NOTE: If you group them, can you not add the same pin if you already added them in a group? You should know which pin function is common for its function.
I’ll check the component’s datasheet pin table and current project pin list, then group each physical pin once by its primary function.
I found the VQFN/RGE pin table. I’ll now apply primary-function group labels so no pin appears in more than one group.
Done. I grouped all 25 TCA9548ARGER VQFN pins from the TI datasheet, with each physical pin assigned to exactly one primary function group.
Groups applied:
  • Power: VCC
  • Ground: GND, EP
  • Controller I²C Bus: SDA, SCL
  • I²C Channels 0–7: SDx/SCx paired per channel
  • Address: A0, A1, A2
  • Reset: ~RESET
I also updated pin types and descriptions to match the datasheet, including pull-up guidance for the I²C and reset pins.
