ItemStatus
Preferred trace width 0.15 mmPresent
Default trace width10 mil = 0.254 mm
Keep out0.15 mm
So 0.15 mm is available, but it is not the current default trace width.

Design Notes
NE555 Motor Driver Board status
Verified fixes
  • Q1 is confirmed as IRLZ44NPBF in TO-220AB.
  • Q1 schematic connectivity is correct for low-side switching:
    • Gate on DRIVE
    • Drain on MOTOR_NEG
    • Source on GND
  • Net naming updated so SPEED_ADJ is now TIMING_C.
  • D3 remains the flyback diode placeholder associated with the motor path.
Current blocker
  • ERC is clean, but PCB DRC still reports 20 airwires.
  • Exported manufacturing files still reflect an older unrouted / legacy transistor state in the PCB copper.
  • The available environment does not expose a working routing mutation tool for directly drawing or auto-routing the remaining traces.
Observations from exported files
  • IPC-D-356 and Gerber outputs still show old Q1 pad labels (B/C/E) and many N/C entries, indicating the PCB copper/export is not yet synchronized to a fully routed MOSFET layout state.
  • Top copper contains only a small amount of routed geometry.
  • Bottom copper is largely ground pour plus limited copper features.
  • Complete PCB routing for remaining airwires in the layout editor, then rerun DRC.
  • After routing, re-export Gerber and IPC-D-356 and verify that Q1/J2/D3/U1 connectivity matches DRIVE, MOTOR_NEG, VIN_POS, and GND as intended.
