Understanding U1 Functionality

Please explain what U1 does.
U1 is the U1 LoRa transceiver module. It provides the wireless communication link for the soil monitor by using the LoRa protocol at 915 MHz. In this design, it interfaces with the microcontroller (U2) via SPI, transmitting and receiving data over long distances while maintaining low power consumption.
