Separated LV rails by disconnecting and reconnecting PS1, C1, C2, C19, J5, J4 onto named nets (+5V, GND).
Rewired UART header: set J4 PIN_1=+5V, PIN_2=GND, PIN_3=UART_TX via R1, PIN_4=UART_RX; tied U9 channels to UART nets and ref to GND.
Attempted to split F1 into AC_HOT_IN -> F1 -> AC_L bus.
Success criteria review
❌ +5V/GND still re-collapse into a single unnamed net due to existing Net Portal parts that electrically bridge across sections.
❌ F1 still shows both pins on AC_L (portals are forcing a short across the fuse).
❌ ERC remains failing (shorted 2-pin parts) because the portals are overriding the rewiring.
Next steps
I need to remove or rename the specific Net Portal components that are forcing these unintended connections (e.g., the multiple instances of the portal text like "F1 2 - PS1 AC/L", "PS1 +Vout - J5 Pin_3", "PS1 -Vout - C10 P2", and the UART portal variants). With current tools, I can only disconnect pins, but these portals keep reasserting connectivity unless the portal symbols themselves are removed/edited. If you confirm it is OK for me to delete the redundant Net Portal instances, I can proceed and then re-apply the correct nets and re-run ERC.
