Make me a temperature and humidity sensor node with Wifi and Bluetooth, powered by USB-C (5V) for consumer use.
It should be a low-power environmental node with a digital T/RH sensor, ultra-low-power MCU with Wi-Fi + Bluetooth (dual-radio) — 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n plus BLE 5.x powered by USB-C (5 V) — USB-C receptacle 5 V default; include reverse/OVP/UVLO/OCP protection and plan for 0.5–3 A sources.
I’m blocked from executing design work because this account currently has no available ACUs, so I can’t add components, create the schematic, or generate project files right now.
Nothing has been modified in the project yet; it is still an empty draft project. Remaining work when ACUs are available:
Rename/describe the project as a USB-C powered Wi-Fi/BLE temperature and humidity sensor node.
Select an ultra-low-power Wi-Fi + BLE 5.x MCU/module, likely an ESP32-C6/ESP32-C3 class module depending on requirements.
Add a digital temperature/RH sensor, USB-C receptacle, 5 V input protection with reverse/OVP/UVLO/OCP, 3.3 V regulation, programming/debug access, and status indicators.
Size the power path for 0.5–3 A USB-C 5 V sources and document the power budget.
Create consumer-use documentation: bring-up plan, firmware notes, and regulatory/compliance notes for the wireless module and USB-C powered product.
Wirelessly connects nets on schematic. Used to organize schematics and separate functional blocks. To wirelessly connect net portals, give them same designator. #portal
