Part Audit Review

The part has 17 terminals and a 3 × 3 mm, 0.5 mm-pitch QFN footprint with exposed pad. I’m now validating the exact TI variant, official datasheet, pin functions, and land pattern.

Part Audit Report Identity and current properties
  • Manufacturer: Texas Instruments
  • MPN: TPS62132RGTR
  • Part type: Integrated Circuit
  • Current description: 3-17V 3A Step-Down Converter in 3x3 QFN Package
  • Package property: 16-VQFN (3x3)
  • Designator prefix: IC
  • Terminals present: 17 total: 16 perimeter pins plus exposed thermal pad (EP/17)
  • Stored datasheet: A datasheet URL is already set and resolves to TI datasheet revision F (SLVSAG7F, revised November 2021). Per the request, it was not replaced because the property was not empty.
  • Official TI datasheet: https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tps62132.pdf
  • TI orderable-part page: https://www.ti.com/product/TPS62132/part-details/TPS62132RGTR
Key specifications
Audit complete. The MPN, manufacturer, 16-pin RGT VQFN package plus exposed pad, and all pin names/numbers match TI’s datasheet; the existing Datasheet URL was valid, so it was not replaced. Main flags are unspecified pin electrical types, missing pin descriptions, omission of the fixed 3.3 V output in the description, and footprint/stencil dimensions that differ from TI’s recommended land pattern.
Full results: Part Audit Report.
Update pin types/descriptions, revise the description to fixed 3.3 V
I’ll set each terminal’s electrical type and datasheet-backed description, then revise the project description to clearly identify the fixed 3.3 V variant and verify the changes.
Updated and verified all 17 terminals with datasheet-backed pin types and descriptions. The project description now explicitly identifies the TPS62132RGTR as a fixed 3.3 V, 3 A synchronous buck converter.

6
Ground
Terminal
Analog ground; connect directly to the exposed thermal pad and common ground plane.
