TI Part Audit

I’ll audit the part metadata, source the official TI datasheet if needed, update the Datasheet property, then verify the symbol pins and footprint against the package drawing.
Audit completed against the official TI datasheet: https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tps25948.pdf. The existing Datasheet property was already populated, so it was not changed.
  • Key specs: 3.5–23 V operating range, 28 V absolute maximum, 8 A continuous, 12.2 mΩ typical on-resistance, adjustable 1–9 A current limit, −40°C to 125°C, 12-pad YWP PowerWCSP/DSBGA package.
  • Symbol: All 12 pin numbers and functions map correctly. However, electrical pin types are unspecified, pin descriptions are missing, and duplicated power pins use VIN_1/2 and VOUT_1/2 rather than TI’s IN and OUT naming.
  • Footprint: Pad count, numbering, locations, and dimensions match TI’s YWP0012A land pattern; no exposed thermal pad is required.
  • Metadata mismatches: Package or Case Code = TO is incorrect—it should identify the YWP 12-pin PowerWCSP/DSBGA package. The Part Type property is also unset, and the custom symbol has a visible text-rendering issue.
