Audit of TMUX6234PWR metadata, schematic symbol, terminal descriptions, and PCB footprint against the official Texas Instruments TMUX6234 datasheet (Rev. C, July 2024).
Current Part Information Package and Footprint Cross-Check
The MPN suffix PWR identifies the PW 20-pin TSSOP option supplied on tape and reel. Datasheet nominal body size is 6.50 mm × 4.40 mm, maximum height 1.2 mm, with 0.65 mm lead pitch.
TI land-pattern example PW0020A:
  • 20 rectangular pads
  • Pad size: 0.45 mm × 1.50 mm
  • Pitch: 0.65 mm
  • Opposing row span / land-pattern dimension: 5.8 mm
  • No exposed thermal pad for PW/TSSOP
Audit complete. The official TI datasheet URL was already set, so no property update was needed; all 20 pin numbers/names and the TSSOP-20 footprint match the datasheet.

Package and Footprint Cross-Check

Interpreting the returned coordinates in board-scale units, it uses approximately 0.45 mm × 1.475 mm pads, 0.65 mm pitch, and 5.876 mm row-to-row center spacing. This is consistent with TI’s recommended PW0020A land pattern; the 1.475 mm pad length is effectively the recommended 1.50 mm with minor rounding.
Footprint result: PASS. No missing or extra pad, no exposed pad, and the pitch/pad geometry are consistent with the TSSOP-20 package.

Terminal metadata mismatch
All terminals currently have Pin Type = Unspecified, and no functional descriptions were present in the inspected terminal metadata. Recommended terminal types:
  • D1–D4 and S1A/B–S4A/B: I/O / bidirectional
  • SEL1–SEL4 and EN: Input
  • VDD, VSS, GND: Power
Descriptions should also capture the internal 4-MΩ pull-downs on SELx and EN, active-low behavior of EN, and the bidirectional nature of Sx/Dx pins.
Functional Summary
TMUX6234 is a four-channel SPDT precision analog switch. Each SELx independently connects Dx to SxA when high or SxB when low, provided EN is low. EN high opens all four channels. Switching is break-before-make and the analog path is bidirectional.

Flagged Mismatches
  1. Incorrect Part Type: “Electromechanical Components” should be an integrated-circuit analog switch/multiplexer classification.
  2. Incorrect parametric classification: “Logic / AND” is wrong; this is a four-channel SPDT analog switch/multiplexer.
  3. Terminal electrical types missing: all 20 terminals are Unspecified rather than Input, I/O, or Power.
  4. Terminal descriptions missing: terminal metadata does not describe analog direction, control behavior, pull-downs, or supply roles.
  5. Description wording: “latch-up immunity” appears in the project description, but the TMUX6234 Rev. C feature list/title does not state latch-up immunity; this claim should be removed unless supported by another official TI qualification document.
  6. Package property visibility: the footprint is consistent with PW/TSSOP-20, but an explicit Package property was not visible among the returned part properties. Adding “TSSOP-20 (PW), PW0020A” would improve searchability and review clarity.
Overall Assessment
The schematic pin mapping and PCB land pattern are correct and usable for TMUX6234PWR. The problems are concentrated in classification, property completeness, and terminal metadata. Correcting those fields is recommended before publishing or broad reuse.
