Official onsemi TL431/D does not offer a 3-pin SOT-23 package; listed packages are TO-92, SOIC-8, PDIP-8, and Micro8. Current footprint is SOT96P240X120-3N.

I’ll re-audit the part against the supplied GOODWORK datasheet—not the onsemi document—then correct the metadata, footprint, and pin definitions only where the document shows a mismatch.

I found the earlier conclusion was based on the wrong manufacturer’s package list. I’m now checking the exact GOODWORK SOT-23 ordering/package drawing and its terminal numbering before making any correction.

The SOT-23 package is valid for this GOODWORK TL431. I corrected the actual mismatch: terminal numbering is now pin 1 CATHODE, pin 2 REFERENCE, pin 3 ANODE, with clear pin descriptions/types; I’m doing the final read-back now.

Verified against the supplied GOODWORK TL431 datasheet:
  • SOT-23, 3-pin package is correct.
  • Corrected pinout to 1=CATHODE, 2=REFERENCE, 3=ANODE.
  • Added pin descriptions and electrical types.
  • Existing footprint is a compatible SOT-23 pattern; no footprint replacement was necessary.
  • The stored datasheet is the same supplied GOODWORK document.
The earlier onsemi-based warning was incorrect because this part is manufactured by GOODWORK, not onsemi.
