Completed the SSI2130 datasheet review and applied pin metadata updates directly to the schematic component without changing, replacing, renumbering, or remapping any pins. Power pins are ordered first, ground pins last, remaining pins are balanced left/right, and EP is marked Not Connected per the datasheet.
Open items:
  • Project MPN is SSI2130, while the orderable datasheet MPN is SSI2130Q-RT.
  • Existing Datasheet URL was already set, so I did not overwrite it with the official Sound Semiconductor URL.
  • Project description has a typo: “Sound Semicondutor”.

A web scrape returned one contradictory 5x5 mm / 0.5 mm result for the package-outline PDF. This was rejected as an extraction error because the SSI2130 datasheet, official package-outline references, and independent review all agree on 4x4 mm / 0.4 mm PQN32.

  1. Datasheet URL was missing from project metadata at inspection time: updated project metadata to https://www.soundsemiconductor.com/downloads/ssi2130datasheet.pdf.
  2. Orderable MPN ambiguity: current MPN is SSI2130; datasheet orderable part for this package is SSI2130Q-RT. If this Flux part is intended to be the concrete QFN/tape-and-reel component, update Manufacturer Part Number to SSI2130Q-RT.
  3. Description typo and incomplete package naming: current description says Sound Semicondutor; should be corrected to Sound Semiconductor and ideally include Voltage Controlled Oscillator, 32-lead 4x4 QFN/PQN32.
  4. Package metadata missing at the property level: footprint is correct, but adding Package or Case Code = 32-lead 4x4 QFN / PQN32 would make sourcing and review clearer.
  5. Pin Description properties are missing from the inspected terminals: the symbol has pin names and numbers, but not datasheet-derived descriptions. Add Pin Description text to each terminal if detailed in-symbol documentation is desired.
  6. SQUARE_OUT pin type: currently Output; datasheet calls it open-collector and requires an external pull-up. Recommend changing Pin Type to Open Collector.
  7. DGND/AGND pin types: currently Power In; datasheet defines both as grounds. Consider using Ground if supported in this part-symbol workflow.
  8. EP electrical guidance: current EP pad is mechanically correct, but it is exposed as a passive terminal. Recommend renaming/describing it as EP_DNC or setting Pin Type to Not Connected, with a pin description: Exposed pad may be landed for assembly, but must be left electrically floating; do not connect to AGND, DGND, or any net.

  • No terminal names, pin numbers, pin types, pin descriptions, footprint pads, or package geometry were changed during this review.
Overall verdict
The SSI2130 symbol pin numbers/names and the QFN footprint geometry substantially match the official datasheet and package outline. The highest-priority issue is not geometry; it is preventing accidental connection of the exposed pad to ground or another net. The next cleanup items are metadata polish: orderable MPN, package property, corrected description, and richer pin descriptions.
