Part Datasheet Review and Validation

I’ll review the part metadata, find and set the official datasheet if missing, then verify symbol/footprint/pin details against it and summarize any mismatches.
The existing datasheet URL is present but resolves to a Skyworks 404, so I’m updating it to the current official Skyworks PDF URL found during review.
Reviewed SMS7630-005LF and updated the stale Skyworks datasheet URL to the current official PDF. I created the detailed audit here: SMS7630-005LF Part Review.
Open items:
  • Symbol pins exist as 1/2/3, but pin descriptions are missing.
  • Pin Type is still Unspecified for all terminals.
  • Component review flags missing Pin Group, Pin Orientation, and Section metadata.
  • Footprint is a standard SOT-23-3 footprint and broadly matches the package, but Skyworks does not provide a recommended land pattern in the extracted datasheet text.

Schematic symbol cross-check
Current symbol consists of three terminal components with pin numbers 1, 2, and 3. Symbol pin positions place pins 1 and 2 on the left and pin 3 on the right, which is compatible with a 3-terminal series-pair diode symbol.
Mismatches / gaps:

Assessment:
  • The footprint is a standard 3-pad SOT-23 footprint and is broadly consistent with the datasheet package/pin count.
  • The pad numbering pattern is mirrored/rotated relative to the datasheet's printed top-view drawing, but that can still be valid depending on footprint orientation. The key requirement is that symbol pin 1 maps to footprint pad 1, pin 2 to pad 2, and pin 3 to pad 3; those pad numbers exist.
  • The Skyworks datasheet provides package dimensions but no manufacturer-specific recommended PCB land pattern in the extracted text, so the footprint cannot be validated against a Skyworks land pattern, only against generic SOT-23 conventions and package dimensions.
  1. Populate terminal descriptions:
    • Pin 1: Anode of diode 1
    • Pin 2: Cathode of diode 2
    • Pin 3: Cathode of diode 1 / anode of diode 2, common series junction
  2. Set symbol parametric metadata to clear review warnings:
    • Pin Group / Section: Diode Pair or Terminals
    • Pin Orientation: match the existing symbol placement, with pins 1 and 2 left-facing and pin 3 right-facing if supported by the property model
  3. Optionally set Pin Type more specifically if Flux supports diode terminal types; otherwise Passive is preferable to Unspecified for ERC behavior.
  4. If high-confidence manufacturing validation is required, compare the SOT95P237X112-3N land pattern against the assembly vendor's preferred SOT-23 land pattern or IPC nominal rules.
