I found an official Bourns PTV09 datasheet URL and confirmed the existing Datasheet URL already points to a datasheet copy, so I’m leaving the property unchanged and using the official Bourns data as the review reference.

Key result: the pin numbering/mapping and signal-terminal spacing match the Bourns datasheet, but the footprint’s mechanical mounting tab geometry does not match: current holes are circular at 8.8 mm spacing, while the datasheet calls for 1.8 × 2.2 mm slots at 10.6 mm spacing. I also flagged incomplete pin metadata, an inappropriate TO package descriptor, B103/B104 footprint metadata mismatch, and noted the official Bourns datasheet URL found.

Footprint metadata
  • The footprint asset/value names contain PTV09A4020FB103, while the project MPN is PTV09A-4020F-B104.
  • The B103/B104 difference is the resistance code, so the mechanical geometry may be shared, but the embedded footprint metadata should be renamed to avoid BOM/library confusion.
  1. Mechanical mounting tabs are incorrect: current footprint uses circular holes at 8.8 mm spacing; datasheet calls for 1.8 mm × 2.2 mm slots at 10.6 mm spacing. This is the main fit risk.
  2. Footprint metadata uses B103 instead of B104: rename footprint/value metadata to the correct MPN or a generic PTV09A-4 mechanical footprint name.
  3. Package/case descriptor TO is not appropriate: use PTV09A-4 / through-hole horizontal rear mount / bushingless instead.
  4. Pin metadata is incomplete: set pin type to Passive and add datasheet-based descriptions for CCW, WIPER, and CW.
  5. Datasheet URL is a storage-hosted copy, not the official Bourns URL: acceptable because a datasheet is present, but the official Bourns URL is preferable if you want the part to point directly to the manufacturer source.
Overall verdict
The electrical symbol pin numbers and potentiometer terminal mapping are correct, and the signal-terminal footprint spacing is correct. The part is not mechanically safe to publish/use as-is because the mounting tab slot geometry and spacing do not match the Bourns datasheet.
