I’ll inspect the part metadata, look for an official datasheet if needed, update the Datasheet property, then compare symbol/footprint/pins against the sourced data.
Found the official Laird datasheet and set the project Datasheet URL. I’m now checking the two-terminal symbol and imported 0805 footprint against the datasheet specs.
Completed the part review and set the official Laird datasheet URL for HZ0805E601R-10. I created the detailed findings in Part Verification Report.
Open items:
Main mismatch: the project/symbol/footprint naming says “FUSE,” but the part is a Laird 0805 ferrite chip bead.
Pin types are Unspecified; recommended Passive.
Footprint appears plausible for 0805, but export scale should be verified because computed layout dimensions showed a likely 1000× reporting discrepancy.
Metadata is incomplete: manufacturer, MPN, package, ferrite bead type, impedance/current/DCR/temp specs should be added.
Suggested next steps:
Rename the part/symbol/footprint labels from fuse terminology to ferrite bead terminology.
Add canonical metadata properties for HZ0805E601R-10.
Update pin types/descriptions.
Verify the exported footprint/Gerber scale before approving the part.
